At first you fly stubbornly, then you crash into pieces. The first attempt at taking drugs is the beginning of the same flight into the abyss. And it is safe to say that the end will be the same. Drug addiction is a disease that occurs as a result of the use of narcotic substances, both natural and synthetic.

One of the features of drug addiction as a disease is that, as a pathological condition, it does not disappear to a large extent, and those negative stable changes that have occurred in the depths of a person’s soul and heart as a result of drug abuse remain with him forever.

The effect of drugs leaves its mark on the human body. It happens that this addiction develops completely in six months or even a year, and more often faster – in just 2-3 months. Often a person becomes a hardened drug addict immediately after taking the first injection.

The reasons for using drugs can be completely different. Experiment – that is, to get a sharp sensation, the opportunity to relax, to distract oneself from everyday, sometimes very difficult, problems, tragic cases, the opportunity to experience completely new, previously unknown sensations, to stimulate the imagination, the development of creative abilities.

But all this is a lie. According to statistics, it is teenagers who most often take toxic substances, inhale oil vapors (derivatives of gasoline, acetone, organic solvents) or take sleeping pills and other nasty things. Older teenagers, as well as young men, move on to drug use.

These are most often opium poppy, cocaine, tranquilizers, cannabis, ephedrine, barbiturates. These are drugs that are injected into veins by drug addicts. Isn’t this the greatest risk of infection with 3 dangerous diseases: HIV/AIDS, hepatitis and syphilis? The general picture is as follows: liver disorder, heart disease, lung disease, and brain disease occur, a sharp decrease in human immunity occurs, and the risk of purulent-infectious complications is high.

A sign of intoxication of this group is drowsiness at the most inappropriate time for a person. A person falls asleep in any position and “nods off”, waking up periodically, and if a person is stirred up, then he enters into a conversation as if he had not slept. Also characteristic is slow conversational speech – words are drawn out, the drug addict repeats the same thing several times.

A person under the influence of drugs is very good-natured, looks thoughtful and absent-minded. He strives to retire to a separate room, while the drug addict wants to turn on the TV and fall asleep. Sometimes, on the contrary, he is intrusive, wants to be in company. His pupils are very narrow at this time and do not dilate at all in the dark. The skin is very pale, dry and very warm, and the burns become imperceptible.

This condition lasts no more than 7-12 hours, and sometimes 4-5 hours.

When this happens, withdrawal begins – during which the addict becomes irritated, nervous and anxious – he needs drugs!
