Sometimes it seems that you can control your habits and lead an active, healthy life without giving up certain pleasures. However, the question is where is the line between \u201cnormal\u201d and destructive. Controlled addiction is the idea that you can limit harmful behavior to the point that it does not affect your quality of life. But can there be a \u201csafe dose\u201d of something that is potentially destructive? From a psychological and medical point of view, no. Even in cases where a person is sure that he or she is in control of his or her addiction (whether it is alcohol, caffeine or technology), the risk gradually increases. It all depends on the context: on the substance itself, on psychological stability and social environment. One cup of coffee is normal, three is a question. The same is true for other habits: it is important to understand when you stop being the master of the situation and start becoming dependent. Think about it: is it worth losing control in search of \u201ccomfort\u201d?
